KimiTeras PoC Launch — Opening Applications for 20 Advertisers in Our Technical High School Digital Signage Trial

We are launching a 3-month Proof of Concept (PoC) for "KimiTeras (キミテラス)" — our new recruitment advertising channel delivered through digital signage installed in technical high school classrooms. The PoC will begin on June 1, 2026 at 岐南工業高等学校 (Ginan Technical High School), and applications are now open for 20 participating advertisers.

About KimiTeras

KimiTeras is a platform that delivers school announcements and local-company recruitment ads on the same screen — a digital signage installed inside technical high school classrooms.

  • For schools — A school-DX tool for instantly broadcasting schedule changes and announcements
  • For companies — A recruitment channel that reaches technical high school students directly, a demographic that has historically been hard to reach
  • For students — Natural daily exposure to local companies, right inside the classroom

  • Target industries — Manufacturing, construction, and infrastructure

Broadcast Specifications

  • 5-minute loop (15 seconds × 20 companies)
  • Approx. 2 hours of operation per day (between-class breaks, SHR, cleaning time, lunch break)
  • Approx. 25 impressions per company per day

Data Collected During the PoC

The PoC is designed to provide participating advertisers with concrete ROI data. Data is captured and analyzed in three layers:

1. Headline Metrics

  • Awareness lift (unaided and aided recall)
  • QR scans and unique users
  • Recruitment conversions (information requests, factory tour applications, info session reservations)
  • Footfall and average dwell time, measured by LiDAR
  • Effective CPA, CPC, and dwell-weighted CPM

2. Segmentation Data

  • Response differences by industry (manufacturing / construction / infrastructure)
  • Response differences by creative elements
  • Dwell time differences by time of day and grade level

3. Direct Recruitment Case Studies

We will work with advertisers to track the full funnel — from factory tour application through actual visit, application, and offer — and compile the results as case studies.

Privacy

The LiDAR sensors used for dwell-time measurement do not capture any personally identifiable information. No cameras are installed. The design is intended to provide peace of mind to students, faculty, and guardians.
